At Navigate 828, safeguarding is not just a policy—it is the foundation of our entire supported accommodation culture.
At Navigate828, safeguarding is embedded throughout our culture, policies, procedures, staff training, and daily practice.
We understand that the young people in our supported accommodation placements deserve absolute safety and security. Our daily operations, property layouts, key-worker reviews, and risk assessments are continuously refined to guarantee that safety remains the primary guide for every choice we make.
A look at the concrete measures we take to embed safeguarding into our daily routines and long-term accommodation pathways.
All Navigate 828 staff undergo rigorous background checks, including enhanced DBS, detailed employment history tracking, reference validation, and face-to-face values-based interviews focusing on safe-practice capabilities.
Our support coordinators receive regular safeguarding training (adults and children), alongside courses covering positive behavioural support (PBS), conflict resolution, first aid, and risk management.
We work hand-in-hand with local police, health coordinates, child protection teams, and social services. Our transparent communication ensures risks are rapidly identified, logged, and solved.
